Events with a transparent background
If an event is displayed with a transparent background as in the left of these screenshots, it means that it has not been synced with Google Calendar yet:
It is a warning to shows you that you have to sync to upload these changes to Google Calendar. Just tap the sync button (e.g. “Start Sync” in the upper left corner of the day view) to run the sync. After the sync has been finished successfully, the event should be displayed with a solid background. It is also possible to change the way how these un-synced events should be displayed in the day view. You can change it under “Settings”, “Display and Use”, “Advanced”, “Indication of unsaved events”:
